Today was Memorial Day. The remembrance of those killed in action serving our country.
I took my grand kids to the parade in Keene. As the flags went by Jacob (My young grandson) stood there with his hand over his heart. My dad, my grandfather would have been proud. I sat there as he pressed the flag’s wooden stick into the ground. The red, white and blue caught a gust of wind as if it was “proud” to be there.
